Board of Public Works
The Board of Public Works is authorized and appointed by the Washtenaw County Board of Commissioners. The Board of Public Works focuses on helping local communities within Washtenaw County address their environmental and public health issues, including sewage disposal and collection, water treatment and supply, lake management, and solid waste. For more information on the Board of Public Works, please contact Dan Myers at (734) 222-6844. 

Brownfield Redevelopment Authority
The purpose of the Washtenaw County Brownfield Redevelopment Authority is to facilitate the implementation of plans relating to the identification and remediation of environmentally distressed areas and to promote site revitalization in Washtenaw County.

Historic District Commission
The mission of the Historic District Commission is to safeguard the heritage of Washtenaw County.  Our historic houses, farms, barns, bridges, schoolhouses and places of worship tell the story of America's past and inform future generations about the values upon which our nation was founded.

Planning Advisory Board 
The Washtenaw County Board of Commissioners established the Planning Advisory Board on October 1, 2002 to assist the Board of Commissioners, under Michigan law, including, but not limited to, development of a county basic development plan with recommendations to the Board of Commissioners on final adoption of that plan, and review of a township basic development plan with recommendations to the Board of Commissioners on its advisory comments back to the township.
